Following on from winning ‘Nursery of the Year’ in the Harrogate Mumbler awards, here are some of the lovely comments from our parents.

- Twinkles have totally transformed my opinion of a nursery. The staff are dedicated, fun and adore the children! Before my daughter went to Twinkles she was cared for her grandparents and I didn’t believe that she’d be cared for quite as well but I was wrong. Ruby genuinely lives every day she is as Twinkles with her friends, learning and having fun. The food provided at the nursery far surpasses any standard I have seen elsewhere and the kids are encouraged to try lots of new things. I love this place, it provide me with a sense of ease that when I leave my baby to go to work that not only will she be cared for, but she’ll learn and have fun too! Twinkles have been so fabulous with both me as a parent and my son. He has been going there since he was 5 months old and he is now 18 months old. They have an open door policy which means the management and nursery staff talk to the parents as they wish. They take on ideas from the parents and are happy to look at different ways of doing things – always evolving and improving. They are the best nursery in the Harrogate area.
- My daughter is due to leave this August after attending this nursery for 3 years. The attention they give her and all the knowledge and friends she is coming away with is second to none.
- All the staff know the children so well and are quick to pick up on any change in behaviour and will work with them to make sure they are happy. They constantly adapt the care to each child as they progress to ensure they are providing a stimulating environment for them
- Such a warm friendly nursery with brilliant staff. Fantastic opportunities for children and the staff really care. Most amazing nursery I’ve seen. Our boys have been attending Twinkles for over a year now and have both settled really well. The staff provide a variation of activities and the kids come home excited to tell us about their day. The nursery do a great job of keeping us informed on what is happening, we get regular photo updates and we are kept up to date with their development progress. The boys have made lots of friends and love going to Twinkles every day.
- They are such a committed, friendly and approachable team. They take so much time to develop strong, caring and positive relationships with every child and their family. They plan amazing fun activities with the children, and know each individual’s needs and interests. They really believe in parent partnerships and do everything they can to support and understand you as a family. Having experienced amazing nurseries with my first child I had high expectations and standards, which Twinkles have surpassed. They are lovely people who I feel very happy to leave my daughter with.

- Staff are so caring and go the extra mile, not only with the children in their care but also with siblings on pick up etc. Development with my daughter has been so good as the staff treat each child individually so that they enhance the care and development for each child, the whole team are amazing
- They have been an amazing nursery for my little boy. All really friendly, professional and so caring. I’d recommend them to anyone and everyone!
- They are Excellent! Very attentive, genuine relationships between the carers and children, my children are excited to go, their menu is superb and all staff are friendly and well qualified. Other nurseries that I’ve used, don’t compare
