Our White Rose nursery has recently had a little bit of a revamp and the children have really enjoyed exploring their new rooms. In the pre-school room the new maths resources have proved really popular and we have been helping the children to develop new skills as they investigated them and the different ways they could be used. The children have looked at weight, capacity, length and time as they used scales, tape measures, rulers, sand times and a variety of different sized and shaped containers. They also explored number and quantity by counting, sorting and comparing a range of objects!
